This sweater is so fun! Made with 80% Targhee lamb and 20% alpaca, raised and processed by Rosebud River Fibre Mill (in Rosebud, Alberta), it is soft and cozy and as farm-to-fashion as you can get.
The colours of this sweater are a blend of a lime green and medium grey. The sleeves, hem, and boatneck are knit in a seed stitch pattern, with the body being a simple stockingette stitch to really let the colours shine. The hem and sleeves are notched for added interest.
This sweater took 34 hours to make.
NOTE: This sweater is 100% compostable. Properly cared for, it will last you many years - maybe even decades. But when it has eventually reached the end of its use, it can be safely composted to complete the life cycle.
